The Hayley Project is a Streamy Audience Choice Finalist!
I know it’s a cliche, but yes, it’s an honor just to be nominated! Thanks to everybody who voted for The Hayley Project. We are an audience choice finalist for the Streamy Awards! This is our second nomination after our star Rachel Risen was nominated for Best Actress. I’m extremely excited about what our little show was able to accomplish and very grateful for the acknowledgment.
That said, I know there are a TON of great other series out there that didn’t get nominated but equally (if not more) deserving of recognition. So kudos to all the other filmmakers and productions out there, especially the other indie filmmakers who are “running ‘n gunning” and bootstrapping their productions. It’s a tough, long road for us, but incredibly rewarding when you see results.
I’m going to keep this short, but will add more thoughts on the Streamys, the other nominees, etc later this weekend. In the meantime, feel free to vote for your favorite show at the Streamys website. You can vote 1X per day until the ceremony on March 28th (note: this multiple voting over time is sort of a wild card in all this, isn’t it?). Below are the other nominees. As you’ll note pretty quickly, there are some heavy hitters in this lineup. I wonder if Joss or Neil Patrick Harris will rally their rabid fan base….
- After Judgment (Captain Films)
- Dorm Life (Attention Span Media)
- Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog (Mutant Enemy)
- The Guild (Knights of Good / MSN)
- The Hayley Project (Tailslating Productions)
- The Legend of Neil (Effinfunny / Atom.com)
- Project Lore (DECA)
- The Shatner Project (Iron Sink)
- Tiki Bar TV (Ministry of Entertainment, Inc.)
- The Wingmen (Lark The Beard)
