So as the Exec Producer of The Hayley Project, I probably should have known about REDEARTH88 beforehand as it’s clearly in a similar audience space as The Hayley Project…. but I didn’t. Chris Albrecht of NewTeeVee (who I met a couple of Thursday’s ago at the New TeeVee Meetup – really nice guy in person) just did an article on this series, which was created by former-Lonelygirl15 team member Glenn Rubenstein. As Chris mentions in his article, this series is starting to pick up a lot of steam. So I just checked it out, and sure enough, it has a cute video blogger who gets wrapped up in some sort of mystery. Anyway, I wonder just how many of these type of shows (including ours) is going to be online before the end of the year….

Hey hey =) just wanted to let you know that the Academy is now allowing online content such as a web series to win an award at the 2008 Primetime Emmys =) It’s great to see the Academy acknowledging the internet as a viable source for entertainment, and to win against a primetime television show would rock.
If you’re interested, check out for the rules and regulations on how to enter. I’m currently working with the Academy to help spread this message to internet filmmakers, so definitely spread the love to others!
