Tailslating Productions Logo
So after several rounds of revisions, the official tailslating productions logo has been finalized. I want to give a special shout out and thanks to Dom Lyne, an incredibly talented designer from London. Dom has been wonderful to work with, and anybody interested in logo or graphic design should consider him for hire.
You can find his portfolio at his site: http://www.dom-lyne.co.uk. I’m sure he’ll charge you a reasonable rate.
On another note, I’ve begun the process of cutting together a promotional trailer. First draft looks pretty good. The challenge in cutting together a trailer from a low budget production is that we don’t have the high production value crane shots and dollies that really gives a trailer a lot of its “oomph.” But I think the trailer looks pretty good for what is essentially a “walk and talk” film. The other challenge is not giving away too much, if any, of the real plot. I hate movie trailers that give away too much of the movie, and for a mystery, that’s a big no-no.
