Foreign Body

Vuguru’s newest project “Foreign Body” launched today. According to NewTeeVee, the budget of this series is approximately $10,000 per minute.

Based on the first episode, it looks like it has some promise as a thriller. However, if Prom Queen barely broke even, I’m not confident this project will. The first episode clocked in around 2:17. Assuming each episode is 2 minutes long, with 50 scheduled episodes, we’re looking at a budget of around $1MM. Seems pretty high for an Internet series.
